Security guard, Frank Wills, thought something was amiss when he found that several locks in a Watergate building were taped back; It was June 17, 1972 and later he would tell the story of what happened that night. To summarize, he freed the locks from the tape and within an hour they were taped back again, so he called the police. Five men would be arrested and by morning it would become the cause of one of the most scandalous events of the last century. Eventually it would bring down a President of the United States and cast a suspicion over shadowy contract CIA types that still exist today.
The men had been arrested inside the Democratic
National Committee's (DNC) office. They were;Frank
Sturgis,, James McCord, Bernard Barker, Eugenio Martinez and Virgilio Gonzalez. They were later indicted along with their supervisorsE.
Howard Hunt, and G. Gordon Liddy.
In February of 1973 our United States Senators
launched the Select Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities—the Watergate
Committee. On March 28, 1973 the committee heard its first witness, James
McCord, who had been PresidentRichard
Nixon's Security Coordinator for the Committee to Re-elect the President.
McCord let the cat out of the bag by naming
Attorney General John Mitchell, John Dean, Jeb Magruder and Charles Colson as
being in on the Watergate burglary.
Later E. Howard Hunt was a witness before the
Senate Watergate Committee. He confirmed the burglary at the Watergate
building but went even further. =
span>He told them that he had
served as the first Chief of Covert Action for the Domestic Operations Division (another DOD?) of the CIA.
This caused quite a clamor as the news hit the streets
because the CIA's official and authorized mandate was to only do their work in
foreign countries. It was illegal for them to do any intelligence or clandestine work inside the United States. That was all supposed to be
the responsibility of the FBI. Since then we have learned of the
association of one Richard Ober who was the liaison of the CIA with theWhite Houseand the FBI on these matters. So the plausible denial was that the FBI was doing their job with a little help
from brothers temporarily assigned from the CIA. Informants and Organized
Crime Family assets were fair game as well.
Hunt opened up again in a 1974 interview with the
New York Times explaining how he ran that division for four years
beginning in 1962, shortly after the failed Bay of Pigs fiasco. 'Many
men connected with that failure were shunted into the new domestic unit.' Hunt had admitted. He confessed to using the division to subsidize
and manipulate news and publishing organizations for the entire 4 years. The cover-up of the killing of Kennedy was very effectively dealt with by the use of this operation.
What he didn't go into was detail about how
these same men were some that had been hurt badly by President John Kennedy's backing out of his promise to provide air support for the operation. We
know JFK backed out of a promise because on March 2, 1963, President
John F. Kennedydiscusses his fear that a Senate investigating
committee might make public the fact that he had authorized (that's a promise
to those who were counting on him) CIA sponsored B-26 bombers waiting in Nicaragua and jets from the U.S. aircraft carrier
Essex to be launched for the assault. The President was talking to his brother Attorney
General Robert Kennedy and two audio recordings of two different phone
conversations detailing this have been released by National Security Archive. So we see now that this seemingly cowardly act of canceling the air
support had caused the failure of the entire Bay of Pigs Operation. It
also caused the deaths of many of the CIA's assets and valuable soldiers that
were intending to free Cuba from Communism and Castro. One of the reasons
that the fair-minded President John F. Kennedy may have demurred on going forth
is that he was very much aware that all covert action on foreign soul was officially against a number of our international treaties with other countries.
NEWS FLASH: New evidence shows how the CIA with the help of the Secret Service altered the original Zapruder film and kept it out of circulation for years to make sure the public didn't catch on to the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill President John F. Kennedy. See the video .. CLICK HERE
President Kennedy's National Security Advisor
McGeorge Bundy and the President met late in the afternoon on
April 16, 1961, the day before the invasion. President Kennedy held to
his belief that, 'They were not vital.' referring to the airstrikes the
CIA had said were necessary for the success of the operation.
Discussions continued into the night and several efforts were made by
General Charles Cabell (Brother of Earle Cabell-Mayor of Dallas Texas)
on November 22, 1963, arguing the need to permit the air strikes. Finally
sometime after 9:00 PM when CIA sponsored bombers were sitting on the
tarmac in Nicaragua preparing to launch Bundy was ordered to put an end to
it. He made the call and canceled the air strikes and
instead ordered the taking of the beachhead first and by making use of the
air strip there bring the bombers from Nicaragua so that they
could launch their air strikes from inside Cuba. Like the good Ivy
League duty-bound President's Man that he was, yes, he would eventually take the blame. The words came from his mouth that cancelled the air
strike, he couldn't blame the President. That is what 'plausible
denial' is all about, isn't it? =
Later General Maxwell Taylor would say
that the cancellation of the crucial air strike caused the failure of
the Bay of Pigs operation. One of those that was most grieved by this
entire episode was E. Howard Hunt.
In a deathbed confession to his son E.
Howard Hunt would finally verify that some of these same men in the Watergate
Burglary along with some other CIA officials were part of the conspiracy that
killed President John F. Kennedy. =
President Nixon's White House tape recordings
provide some clues about all this as well. His advice to others to warn
the FBI not to go any further into this Watergate matter (CIA connected people)
cause it could lead to this other thing and the Bay of Pigs thing. There
was little to fear though, there is no way the FBI would have followed the
leads of the Bay of Pigs to Mafia contracts then to the JFK assassination and
then to their fearless leader, J. Edgar Hoover.J.
Edgar Hoover. After all
he and Vice President Lyndon Johnson wanted JFK out of the way as much as
Some of those indicted for the Watergate Burglary
were in fact part of the group that assassinated JFK and helped keep it covered
up. Hunt's own admission was that he had used the CIA's Domestic
Operations Division to subsidize and manipulate news and publishing
organization for the duration of the 4 years he had ran it. He
started in 1962 so from 1962 until 1966 he had subsidized and manipulated news
and publishing organizations. On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was
assassinated and immediately all the major news and publishing organizations in
this country dutifully (along with Texas born, well educated and loyal Dan Rather) came forward proclaiming the guilt of Lee Harvey Oswald as the assassin. This was during Hunt's reign as overseer of the same. Now by his own admission we know that the people he was working
with then were the same people who he later admitted had killed JFK.
Hunt is a cool confessor. He confesses the sins of his brothers in crime but
leaves out the dirtiest deeds that he himself sponsored and achieved.
This is a similar tact to the result of 'Deep Throat'. Using a couple of eager journalists you plant the story you want the people of America to fixate
on and keep the dirtiest of the secrets still covered up.
A clear objective of CIA Domestic Operations was handled by Richard Ober as Liason to the FBI. Identifying Adversaries and Subversives and making them go away was key to the CIA's Counterintelligence Operations. Any number of those killed including JFK could fit in that general description as the CIA would have seen it. It is this investigators opinion that given the
complete body of evidence we have today and the specific facts and details
provided by CIA Master Spy and Spy Master E. Howard Hunt we can no longer bury
our heads and believe the incredible absolutely unbelievable lie that Lee
Harvey Oswald killed President John F. Kennedy. CIA assassins along with
hired Mafia killers worked together to shoot and kill President John F.
Kennedy. There were more than enough of them that hated JFK and wanted
him dead. They had the motive, methods, resources and ability to do it
and then cover it up. That is exactly what happened President
Kennedy and his brother Robert had gone after Organized Crime. JFK had caused
the failure of the Bay of Pigs Operation where many loyal CIA assets and
followers were killed-then shortly after fired CIA Director Allen Dulles (An
Intelligence World hero and Godfather and firing him was all the old line CIA
brothers needed as evidence that JFK had double crossed them.). JFK
ordered the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam only about a month prior to his
murder. JFK and his brother Bobby were giving warning to J. Edgar Hoover
that he would soon be forced into retirement. JFK made more enemies in a
short time than he'd be able to protect himself from. Whatever the CIA wanted ABC, NBC, CBS... well you
know, the news, whatever they wanted them to tell us, that's exactly what they
told us and the dirtiest of the dirty tricks that were played remained
hidden. They financed and manipulated the publishers as well so there
goes all the rest; magazines, newspapers, books (including our history books),
etc. 3 days after JFK's murder, his brother
Bobby-Attorney General of the United States had stepped away from his role as
top government lawyer going after Mafia bosses. Now, Deputy Attorney
General Nicholas Katzenbach was running the Attorney General's
Office. The Acting AG Katzenbach sent a memo
to Bill Moyer, an Assistant to the President in the White House that provides
some clear direction to the cover-up of the conspiracy in the killing of JFK. Here is what he said: "The public must be satisfied that Oswald was the assassin; that he had no confederates who are
still at large; and that evidence was such that he would have been convicted at
trial. Speculationabout Oswald's motivation ought to be cut off, and we should have some basis
for rebutting thought that this was a Communist conspiracy or (as the Iron
Curtain press is saying) a right-wing conspiracy to blame it on the Communists."
Unfortunately the facts on Oswald seem about too pat—too obvious (Marxist, Cuba, Russian wife, etc). Oswald was in fact nothing more than the 'PERFECT PATSY'.
Here we have the Acting Attorney General of the
United States of America cutting short the due process of our legal system
our Constitution is supposed to guarantee every citizen. He is the judge
and the jury in a court of injustice that is hard to believe when looked at
with any fairness or interest in a just legal system. So why must, 'The
public be satisfied that Oswald was the assassin;". I can tell you
why. It's because he knew that if the truth were found,
then President Lyndon Baines Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover, a host of
other FBI officials and agents; as well as CIA folks and friends in the
Mafia would all go to prison. So began the plan for the Warren
Commission and more efforts were begun to make sure that news
organizations and publishers all over the world had one mantra. Lee
Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy.
The truth about the
assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. as well
as JFK's brother and Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy is still
continually assaulted by media with the same lies manufactured and fed to us in the 1960s. Who benefits from the continuing cover-up of the truth? Certainly not you and I or any other rational human being. It's never good to live with and in a lie, especially one that has impacted history like this one has and continues to do so even today.
Now, what have doctors said that viewed JFK's body following the assassination. Here's a couple of examples:
Dr. Crenshaw, then a resident physician at Parkland Hospital
Dr. Charles Crenshaw's book Conspiracy of Silence (Reprinted as TRAUMA ROOM ONE) caused a minor sensation when it was released in 1992, even attracting the attention of the New York Times. Coauthored by Jens Hansen and Gary Shaw.
The back of Kennedy's head was blown out, clearly implying a shot from the Grassy Knoll in front of Kennedy.
A small wound in Kennedy's throat was an entrance wound, proving a shot from the front, and not from the Sniper's Nest behind Kennedy.
Parkland doctors, knowing there was a conspiracy, have feared to speak out.
The President's body was altered between Parkland Hospital and the autopsy at Bethesda.
President Lyndon Johnson called the operating room as Oswald was being treated due to the Jack Ruby shooting; speaking to the doctor LBJ demanded a death bed confession be extracted from Lee Harvey Oswald.
Dr. Robert Nelson Mcclelland, another doctor that treated JFK at Parkland Hospital
"It was a huge exit wound to the BACK of the president's head, to the occipital parietal area (that would be the right, back of the skull)."
In testimony at Parkland taken before Arlan Specter on 3-21-64, McClelland described the head wound as, "...I could very closely examine the head wound, and I noted that the right posterior portion of the skull had been extremely blasted. It had been shattered...so that the parietal bone was protruded up through the scalp and seemed to be fractured almost along its right posterior half, as well as some of the occipital bone being fractured in its lateral half, and this sprung open the bones that I mentioned in such a way that you could actually look down into the skull cavity itself and see that probably a third or so, at least, of the brain tissue, posterior cerebral tissue and some of the cerebellar tissue had been blasted out...." Later he said, "...unfortunately the loss of blood and the loss of cerebral and cerebellar tissues were so great that the efforts (to save Kennedy's life) were of no avail." McClelland made clear that he thought the rear wound in the skull was an exit wound. McClelland ascribed the cause of death to, "...massive head injuries with loss of large amounts of cerebral and cerebellar tissues and
massive blood loss."
Xray Technician Paul Connor
Xray Technician Paul Connor was one of the first to see the JFK corpse after it was taken from the body bag once it arrived at Bethesdal Naval Hospital to have "autopsies" performed. 2 naval doctors with absolutely no experience in forensic pathology were assigned to do the autopsy. "we were aghast....there were no brains. The back of his head was completely blown out". When shown the "official" autopsy photographs with the neat little entry hole his response was. "I don't know where they got there, but these are complete fakes'.
A Reflective Note from Gary Revel:
There are many of us that just don't believe in the 'Lone Gunman Theory' as it applies to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Among us was Jackie Kennedy and slain Senator/Attorney General Bobby Kennedy. In a recent Gallup Poll over 60% of Americans don't believe in it either. The hard evidence, when taken as a whole, just doesn't weigh enough to push the balance of justice to the guilt of Oswald. Even if you forget about all the rest just the fact that the head shot could not have come from the 'Oswald Rifle' is enough to keep a 'guilty beyond a reasonable doubt' verdict. During my investigation in 1977 I could not even put Oswald on the 6th floor when the shots rang out. That would have presented a problem in a trial too.
More problems for prosecutors who might have attempted to convict Oswald:
Texas radio show, in 2006 and JFK Researcher Richard M. Hooke’s analysis (3/1/2015) had an 85 year old caller, named Velma, who saw J.D. Tippit directing traffic behind the TSBD right after the shooting. Velma said she was living in Dallas at the time and was sitting in her car, parked behind the TSBD, during the assassination. She remembered seeing a man run out the back of the TSBD with a gun (high-powered rifle – no bolt action) which she now says was Mac Wallace. There was also a man, wearing a felt hat and wide band, black heavy eyebrows; sitting in a grey Plymouth 1-seater coupe. The man looked her in the eye. She said Tippit yelled at the man to move his car, but he did not right away. Velma said she had not come forward then because she didn’t want to get shot. Tippit got back in his police car and went around Dal-Tex and the man in the felt hat went, in his grey coupe, the other direction around the Dal-Tex building.
*Note – Mac Wallace and Loy Factor were both dark complected according to those who knew him.
Photo from University of Texas at Austin Web Site
Witnesses who heard 4 shots: Carolyn Walther, Ruby Henderson, Robert West, Amos Euins, James Worrell, Robert West
Arnold and Barbara Roland – saw Loy Factor, in west window with a rifle, and Mac Wallace (dark complected) or Lee Oswald in east window; just before Oswald went downstairs, prior to the shooting; the WC said Arnold Roland was mistaken.
Carolyn Walther – saw two men; either Wallace and Oswald (east end), a little earlier, or Wallace and Factor (west end), a little later (closer to the shooting). Carolyn was not called by Warren Commission.
Ruby Henderson – saw two men; either Wallace and Oswald (east end), a little earlier, or Wallace and Factor (west end), a little later (closer to the shooting). Ruby was not called by Warren Commission.
John Powell (and other prisoners in county jail) – saw two men in east window; Wallace and Oswald, a little earlier; before Oswald went down to the lunchroom (as some witnessed then out front to the doorway); where he was photographed, by James Altgens. The Warren Commission never called anyone from the jail to testify. Ronald Fischer and Robert Edwards – saw a man shooting (Wallace or Factor).
Amos Euins- saw a dark complected man fire – either Wallace or Factor; Euin’s mother was threatened before he testified. James Worrell – heard 4 shots, went around back, saw man run out, 5’7”, 165 lbs., with dark hair go around backside (west) – could have been Lee Oswald, at 12:40, going around backside, across top of knoll, and into station wagon (one of Ruth Paine’s); Worrell was killed in an auto accident in 1966.
Some of this is from ... Richard Hooke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97pPNG03ikc ... How many men on the 6th floor and how many shots were fired. Uploaded on Dec 17, 2008 - Many witnesses saw more than one man on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository and several heard more than three shots. Velma, 85 years old, telling about seeing a gunman running out of the TSBD. Neither his appearance nor gun matched that of Oswald's.
Still: Even after the overwhelming amount of clear evidence that Oswald could not be the killer of JFK I really don't blame those who continue to believe he did it. We have all been fed and continue to be fed such load of manure that it's really impossible to make heads or tails of this matter from all the information and misinformation that is available today. If I had not investigated the matter myself, when some of the files, testimony, evidence, etc.. was still fairly fresh, I doubt if I could get a handle on it today either. All the polls show that most people have not been able to swallow a lone-nut gunman theory for JFK's killing even after all these years and all the manure that has been spread on their individual and corporate consciousness. In consideration for those who were unknowingly involved in the killing and the continuing cover-up we have to weigh in the fact that, as I found during my investigation, they'd demur with, 'I was just doing my job'.
The CIA had pretty much ran their own ship until President Kennedy moved into the White House. He brought a new approach; one that the CIA did not like. Under Allen Dulles the CIA had toppled foreign heads of state in Guatemala and Iran but now JFK was asking the CIA to be more diplomatic than resorting to covert operations and dirty tricks. Where the CIA acted largely without restriction now JFK took the reins and made the traditionalists in the intelligence world very unhappy. A New York Times report once quoted JFK as saying he wanted "to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds." There is little doubt that the CIA had people, whether contract employees or otherwise, that hated JFK because of the Bay of Pigs fiasco and the fact that he was known to be privately remarking on his discontent with the agency. CIA and US Military were bitter after Kennedy’s lack of support in the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. It was this event that paved the way for JFK to retire/fire CIA Director Allen Dulles. Dulles became the scapegoat as it were for the Bay of Pigs failure. Many US Military and CIA folks have told me that the Bay of Pigs and subsequent Dulles firing was all that was needed for plans to come to the table for an exercise to relieve JFK of his duty. Of those with power to know and provide intelligence and logistical support for such an operation were Chief of Counterintelligence James Angleton, agents Cord Meyer, George Joannides, E. Howard Hunt along with contractors Frank Sturgis and Gerald Patrick Hemming; among others. Whether it was rogue elements, contract players or regular CIA they served well in the execution of the assassination and the cover-up. These are the kinds of people that were known to be comfortable with brutally murdering, using torture and any other coercion tactic on people to satisfy the completion of their mission. Not to forget that J. Edgar Hoover and many in the FBI helped also. Then there was Mafioso Godfather Carlos Marcello and his influence in the matter that clinched the operation.
It has been written that by the time of his killing, Bobby was less suspicious of the CIA being involved in his brother's assassination and more so the Mafia. This may have been a fateful mistake.
Due to the CIA's infiltration of news organizations, publishing companies as well as many other governmental and business operations the following cover-up was a sure thing. Now, for me, after just passing the 50th anniversary of JFK's murder, I must weigh the influence of the CIA's part as too important to think anything but, their guilt is evident.
Retired FBI agent Don Adams calls the Warren Report “Nothing But a Bunch Of Lies.”
Retired FBI Agent and Police Chief Don Adams, who was one of the original investigators in Dallas examining the JFK assassination, stumbles upon records and reports that were doctored. He knows, because he filed the original reports. His decade long investigation has taken him deep into history, to the National Archives and beyond. Step by step he says he has learned and can prove that Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill JFK.
